Re: 2014 High Sierra Fly-in Dates TBD by you!

Well, the good news is I'll have one less weekend to bid off, the bad news is I'll have to convince Dee to spend our anniversary at the fly-in. Glad I've got lots of time to soften her up an the idea!

The resolution of the GE image of the lake bed is quite good. Would be cool to carve 3SGS into the surface to compete with all the donut tracks for the next Google earth image. Characters at least 40' tall would be about right.

Kevin are you planning on having portable toilets and catering truck again this year? It was much appreciated last year. I am willing to chip in again with a donation to help out.

Re: 2014 High Sierra Fly-in Dates Announced!

The much hyped and overpromised High S13rra backcountry flying film is spinning its wheels. Maybe if I finish it before the fly-in, we can watch it there on a big screen with a projector? Aktahoe and Highroad, I still need to spend some time with you guys soon to get some footage. I need a staff.

THAT would be awesome!

Just to clarify, Thursday thru Saturday? Or Sunday the 26th? Worse case, I do the anniversary on the 23rd and arrive Friday to the party.

Re: 2014 High Sierra Fly-in Dates Announced!

I had a ton of fun last year and meet some really cool people. I'm hoping to find a way down there...not having a plane sucks.

Re: 2014 High Sierra Fly-in Dates Announced! OCTOBER 10-12th

After some various conflicts of my own, I have changed the dates for our 5th annual High Sierra Fly-in to be a couple weeks earlier and for the full moon in October!! Dates are final for October 10-12th. I hope that this does not hamper anyone and certainly hope you can make it! Its going to be a very good time!

I already have the catered BBQ for Saturday night and Sunday morning breakfast set up and we are stocking up on tannerite as we speak... #-o

More details to come as we get closer. We are going to have some fun this year!!! Please make certain to sign up in the events section as your plans come together! I am bringing the whole family this year with a plane, motorhome and motorcycles...

I like the new dates better. Especially for the PacNW weather.

Sorry if I missed it, but what's the location? There's an outside chance I could swing it. Sounds like a blast.
