2020 Jackson / Trick Air ski fly-in

I haven't uploaded everything yet, but here are a few shots:

Following Hwy 210 east. Freezing mist 2k and above so staying low kept the windscreen clean.

Awesome pictures as always Brad!! Looks like a decent turnout. I'm out of state, hopefully will be back for JR's Corner flying.

That 172(?) Looks like it's running bit rich!

Great pictures for sure.

WWhunter, unfortunately JR’s Red Lake Access fly-in for Feb 22 has been cancelled due to the slush conditions. Disappointing but understandable. The slush is awful in my area.

Great picture BRD. Love the pics of the old snow machines. Those are real classics!

Re: 2020 Jackson / Trick Air ski fly-in

Is the large rectangle area all snow machines and riders? Looks very symmetrical. Looks like an amazing event.

Re: 2020 Jackson / Trick Air ski fly-in

The rectangle area is all fishermen (event tent city in the middle). There are sleds, trucks and cars parked all around the edges.. This is on Gull lake (Hole-in-the-day Bay) near Nisswa, MN. Ice should be around 24 inches here.

I concur. From the picture it sort of looks like antique snow machines are dad's hobby, and Jr. is wishing he was on a timbersled...

Same here! We had a Skiroule, (Green sled on the right) when I was a kid. That thing never ran right, but took one heck of a beating.

Thanks! I sort figured it might be cancelled. A buddy sent me some pictures of the slush. :(

Fantastic pictures BRD. I want skis so bad it's silly. Maybe next year.

I'm kinda in awe that Hammer knows what a Timbersled is.

I enjoy the photos of this event every year. Looks like a neat selection of planes, and I bet some characters bring them.

My mom made the mistake of getting younger one year - now we're all on to her trick!

Don't know about Timber Sleds, but my father invented these: http://www.vintagesnowmobiles.50megs.com/PP15488.html That's me behind my older sister, the geek wearing the helmet, obviously a staged photo. The old man would really get a kick out of my skiplane if he was still around.
