Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

61 C310 nose gear on 67 C172

I have questions about HD nose gear on a 76 C172, Is there any issue using the nose gear from a 1961 C310, are there any differences on the 310 nose gear for year to year or are they all the same?

Might oughta see if the FAA will approve it.

Log book entry by a&p. Some don't believe it is that simple. I have the plane, the log book entry detailing the order of superseeded part numbers that make this acceptable. I would give you the feds name but has long since retired out of Fairbanks. A&P experience is worth the money.

The HD fork and 6" wheel and tire were offered as an option on my 67H, it was also standard on the T41, the parts are the same as the nose gear on a 310, I wanted to make sure that that there were no changes to the fork or block over the model years. This conversion should only take a log book entry, no 337 or field approval required. :D

I knew the larger fork was an option (also for my 63 P172D), but I didn't know the 310's fork was the same part.
