Has anyone been into 66S, Cavanaugh Bay yet this spring? I'm wondering if it has dried out enough for a ChickenHawk with little tires.

My dad took our 185 on 8.50's in there last week. He didn't mention anything when I talked to him. I realize that's not a great PIREP, but he usually says something if there's something notable!

I was there on Sunday. 3 Skywagons, a Bonanza and a Seabee on the ground. Its never a bad idea to call Alan the Caretaker, it will always be good info. Get the phone # fron the Airstrips page of idahoaviation.com

I am at Cavanaugh Bay right now and the strip is in great shape. There is a C182 and a Cirrus 22 that landed here today.
Let me know if you stop in, I will come say hello.
Alan
