Not sure exactly when Dave bought the 180, but if I remember the story
right, someone made him an offer for the 170 that he couldn't refuse,
so he found himself shopping for another airplane when Harold Holiman
(sp?) put his 180 up for sale ('member Harold? His sig on the 170 forum
was something to the effect of the 180 being an overgrown 170 with a
funny/square tail).

We were aware of the fact that Dave built up that C-181. I flew it once
before it was destroyed (it felt a bit heavy, but it flew nice!).
