Shutting down BOTH sides of the freeway? That is a good example of everyone covering their butt, safety first I'm sure was the mantra.... was it carrying dynamite? Seems a bit overkill, good to be flying over it rather then driving. Bet their were some p offed truckers!

Probably more than just a truck roll over accident. In the second photo it looks like the 2 fire fighters are in HAZMAT suits and that looks like one of the tanker trailers you see on the freeway transporting HAZMAT. Not really any different than when a train derails and they evacuate all the homes within a mile or so.

Was it sunny in those pictures? I thought it rained every day in Ohio.

Steve - it does rain every day in Ohio. I have been timing my patrols between the waves of weather. This morning I took off with wet ground and puddles and flew west to Indiana almost, then east to Pittsburgh and didn't get wet, but rain is just around the corner.

There is another round of rain on the radar heading my way as I type (more soggy fields). Finished planting Saturday and am heading back home later today, (where floats are the gear of choice and the walleye don't mind the rain). Hope it dries up for you guys.
