Re: Ain't life Great!

This is so true how we take things for granted. I don't get on a jet that much, but a few weeks ago I was on a flight half way across North America. The lil screen on the back of the seat updating flight information said we were at 40,000 feet above the Rockies at over 600 mph. I could not un glue my head from the window. The view was magnificent. A billion billion people through out human history could have never have imagine such a feat, and we do this every day. It was like I died and went to heaven. Then get home , hop in my own heavier than air machine, burn some hydrocarbons and 40 minutes later be in some valley on a gravel bar in the middle of nowhere. Less than 100 years ago it would have taken a week and a lot of struggle to get to. Enjoy it while it lasts. :!:

That was fabulous. I will now demonstrate my general lack of modern culture by asking...who is the comedian/social commentary guy? I absolutely love his take on whiners.

Life is great! Thanks for that one, loved it!

By simply using my iPhone's YouTube app, typing in 'Conan airplane comic' and hitting search it came up with your answer, Louis CK. I did have to wait nearly two entire seconds for it to load... :)

Blessed are the curious, for they shall have great adventures!

Very good clip. I love going to the airport and propping my '46 Aeronca and go flying. It makes up for dodging cell phone soccer moms and texting teens. The Aeronca has the proper and complete electrical system, two magneto "P" leads and thats it.
