Aircraft type sub-forums

I've made a change that may help some of you who want to filter your reading by aircraft type. I've begun adding type-specific sub-forums under the Aircraft Types forum. Feel free to suggest types to add.

For many of you this won't really change anything about the BCP experience, or even be noticeable, because if you're like me, you just monitor Recent Topics, which shows recent activity from all the sub-forums.

But if you want to research a specific type, consolidating topics about that type into sub-forums will help the browsing experience.

And remember the Knowledge Base? My vision for a documentation/curation project to convert discussion information into more useable wiki-style information? It's still there: https://backcountrypilot.org/knowledge- ... y-aircraft and it needs love.

It really only makes sense to put topics in the type sub-forums that discuss distinctions or details about that aircraft. If you have a maintenance or general Continental/Lycoming question that's more broad, put it in the Engines and Propellers forum.

This is meta pedantry but I think it will be useful for some at some point. It may bring better SEO for Google searches. It may provide a home for disenfranchised type club exiles. It may anger you, I don't know. Enjoy!

This is a fantastic site upgrade! thank you!

I think as you mentioned, when people google "DHC-2 Forums" or something like that -- we are more likely to get more traffic to the site!
