Spent the weekend up at the Great Alaska Aviation Gathering with AkGreg. Great folks, great weather, great time.

As they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." And, many years ago a young woman who moved to Alaska noted a factoid about Alaska men: "When it comes to Alaska men, the odds are good, but the goods are odd." Guess who chose most of those paint schemes.....?

Interesting comment about the paint schemes. I didn't see anything unusual or particularly ugly, but I've lived in Alaska for nearly 60 years, so maybe I don't know any better. If it has wings, I love it.

I was a bit skeptical about the fairgrounds… But as it turns out, it was a really good place to have the event.

Hopefully we’ll have a stronger BCP meetup next year.

Does anyone have pictures of the inside, I have never been to the event at Palmer, just the FedEx hangar.

No photos, but at FedEx, all the vendor booths were inside a single building. Convenient, but very crowded. At the fairgrounds, booths are spread among several different tents and pavilions. Quieter, less crowded, easier, I think, to get to talk to the representatives and see the products.

All the winter projects come out for showing. Thanks for sharing.

Did the new Helio show up? I know this was a huge milestone for them.

Had a great time at the show! Turnout was great and weather was fantastic.
