Flying my 180 from WA to PA next week. Will be spending some time in upstate NY/New England. Would love some recommendations for good strips to camp at. Thanks!
Likely rough route KOQN- KSYR-KPTD-KBTV-6B6. Open to diversions…
thanks!

Feel free to swing by our strip in North Creek. 0NY0. You can camp at the strip or at our raft base a couple of miles away ( Which has a bathroom). If you are here mid-week I can hook you up with a janky rafting van with a angry beaver painted on it. I will PM you my contact info.

Take Pete up on his offer. A beautiful place to camp with some amazing scenery for the east coast. Another spot further east is Parlin Field 2B3 in Newport NH. Also has camping on the airport with fire rings and picnic tables. Access to the FBO and bathroom 24 hours. I just camped Parlin again last weekend and hope to camp Bennett's Airport again this year too. Maybe before the frost hits this time but Pete took great care of us.

Parlin is a wonderful setting. I'd base out of there. Lot's of great flying to be done in the region. I've not been to Pete's place but I'm sure it's great. Parlin has good fuel prices as well and it is a very friendly airport. I was there a week ago.
