Almost bought an iPad

I'm looking for the cheapest replacement I can find for my 196.

I use it on my iPhone occasionally, it's ok. It's way better on the iPad. iPod touch has no built in GPS as far as I know, so you have to buy a Bluetooth external GPS. It would make for a cheap moving map solution I guess.

I second Zane's comments. Even though I have a 10 in dynon sky view, I use it for weather and as a 3rd backup if the dynon and gizmo panel mounted Aera go dead. Plus Bluetooth to my headset for music, etc.

Is the new Ipad 3 worth a damn? Thinking of getting one, how do you link it to GPS or do you?
