Almost bought an iPad
Avionics, airplane covers, tires, handheld radios, GPS receivers, wireless Wx uplink...any product related to backcountry aircraft and flying.

I use it on my iPhone occasionally, it's ok. It's way better on the iPad. iPod touch has no built in GPS as far as I know, so you have to buy a Bluetooth external GPS. It would make for a cheap moving map solution I guess.

I second Zane's comments. Even though I have a 10 in dynon sky view, I use it for weather and as a 3rd backup if the dynon and gizmo panel mounted Aera go dead. Plus Bluetooth to my headset for music, etc.
