Guy says he has 32K floatplane hours over 47 years says it is probably a world record, man that is a ton of time in the air. My business is going pretty and I am only running 350 float hours a year, Hawaii must be the place to be.

I'd be surprised if you could beat 350 a year flying scenics out of Honolulu. Even if you have the WX all the time there isn't very far to go...

I just chatted with him in September. They were looking to sell and fully retire. He said he’d have a pilot/instructor by my next visit. That was supposed to be in Nov. guess he didn’t get the pilot he thought he would. Was looking pretty quiet and run down when I was there. Too bad.
