Any recommendations for Northern Idaho

Starting to plan for a trip to Idaho. I usually base out of JC, but thought it would be nice to go a little farther north this year and check out northern Idaho. I am looking for places of interest and favorite camp spots, good fuel stops, both for me, and the Margwagon(mogas is fine) that would be in western Washington, northern Idaho and western Montana.
Thanks Gary

Fish Lake is one of our favorite spots and West Fork Lodge, MT has a good breakfast, Cavanaugh Bay, ID if you get that far north and Sullivan Lake, WA is not that far away.

As others have said, check out Cavanaugh Bay and Sullivan Lake. Also, Magee is a great strip to camp at. Elk River is a cool place to stop for lunch and they have a general store as well to stock up on supplies.

Some of my favorites,
Sunday morning brunch at Cavanaugh Bay
Magee- great place to camp, not many people know about it.
Cayuse Creek-camping and good fly fishing. Another not well known place off the beaten path.
Cheapest fuel in the area is St Maries self serve.- courtesy car to go to town for lunch
Bonners Ferry -more cheaper fuel
Lots of private strips in the area. Once in the area, you will probably meet people and get invites to flyin and visit.

We're "Hanson" on the Great Falls sectional. Stop in and camp or just say HI if you wish.

Hey John
Thanks for the invite. I would like to do that. Also thinking about flying the Missouri Breaks and that would put you right on the way, I think :D
And could probly find out more about that from you.
Also, if you had a set of 175 wings, we could probly put them on while I'm there
Hope to see/meet ya.

Headed for JC on the 2nd of july for 10 days... fished at Cayuse and SHearer in the past, Gary, both are good camping strips but no running water and hot showers like JC...almost stepped on a rattler at SHearer... so bear that in mind...

Yo Gary,

I am joining Blackrock and a few others in a weeklong trip of North Central Idaho, Montana and then Northern Idaho beginning the 26th of June, I don't know if you want to consider it but the Montana portion is on your list and so are the scheduled North sites. If you want the list/timetable let me know .
