Anyone around Indianapolis Indiana?

Still looking for a 172 and the next likely candidate is in Martinsville, Indiana. Anyone live nearby or know of a reputable A&P/IA to do a pre-buy?

Thanks.

Re: Anyone around Indianapolis Indiana?

The forum rules prevent me from posting an item for sale that I do not own... so I would like to relate a completely different story.

While I was reading the latest issue of Aviator's Bulletin (a small print classified ad newspaper for airplane stuff, published in the beautiful town of Ojai, CA... which is right near the world's coolest antique airport in Santa Paula, CA... where I'm sure the airport manager Rowena Mason has the phone number of the Aviator's Bulletin publisher), I got a really nasty paper cut on my finger.

It happened just as I was reading an interesting blurb in that paper, about a 1960 172 that had been advertised for months, and the price had been reduced over those months, from $31K, to $27K, to $25K, to $22K and finally now $20K, and it was supposedly a pretty nice airplane from the sound of his description.

Just as I was realizing that this was a similar kind of situation, like the great deal that I got on my 172 from reading the same publication, I joyously raised my hand to say "A-HA !!!", and that's when my finger slid over the edge of the paper and got sliced open.

So in the interest of air safety and pilot medical reform, please exercise extreme caution when turning the pages of an aviation-related newspaper, to avoid cutting yourself.
