Lots of precip in the area today and the forecast looks pretty crummy for the weekend. Thinking this one will be postponed till a little later.

If you decide to cancel for sure, let us know. This is always a good place for some fun as well as numerous things to do nearby.

Wx on Sunday looks iffy and I've been grounded at Gravelly before on a Sunday trying to get home so I am going to pass for the overnight trip this weekend. Still planning on flying Saturday. I am going to run up to Rancho Tehama near Red Bluff to visit a friend and discuss a few things and then I was planning on hitting Antelope Valley just to the W of Williams on my back down between 1030 or noon or so.. depends on how much I BS with my buddy.

AK trade show weekend for me but for those west coasters interested, Angwin Parrett Field 2O3 now has 24/7 cardlock 100LL fuel at $5.40 per gal, 7 days. Bonus is you dont have to drop to valley floor as Angwin is at 1840 msl. A short walk gets you to the grocery with sandwiches and light food bar all days barring Sat.

How primitive is the camping there? Any water near by? Outhouse?

Flew up there today to sight in a rifle and it was pretty warm. Looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend.

Scott, we camp on the south end of the airstrip. All that is there is a fire ring and some trees for shade. It's about a 200 yard walk to some pit toilets at the campground next to the airport. They also have a water spigot there, not sure if it is potable.

For those that originally posted in this thread if you are free stop by Gravelly Friday evening. I'm going to camp and leave Sat morning for the Cloverdale Open House.
