I plan on being there...going to drive from Townsend, Montana and do other business on the way...that makes two of us!

I'm no instructor, but if BCPers gather up for it and want to grab a drink or food I'll drive up for that!

I'm still a year away, but I'd be up for a meet-n-greet if anyone wants to catch up.

The event will be held at the Embassy Suites on Yampa street, just off of Tower rd. I will be arriving Friday night late. Maybe a get together Sat evening?

I'm good until June 2010. May just bite the bullet and get on this cycle. Doing it online sucks.

Re: AOPA FIRC Dec 5-6, Denver

Totally agree that doing it online is not fun...getting kicked off in the middle of a test, etc. The camaraderie doing it in person is half the fun ..... seeing old friends, hangar flying, etc. Montana has only one FIRC clinic a year sponsored by Montana Dept of Aeronautics.....and iy is supposed to be a good one, but not soon enough, so we will be driving in from the Helena area to attend......OR......is Yampa street long enough to land on and is there enough tie down area at the hotel if the BCP crew shows up? .......blue skies to all

Makingmemories,
Fly into Front Range and grab their DIA shuttle. The last time I did it, the cost was $30.

Tom, I have to work nights on Friday and Sunday night so I will not be attending the FIRC. May be able to hit D town on Sat night for a get together.

TGI Fridays or Hooters are always a good place for a beer. Are any of the springs people still coming up? Let me know soon.

Is this "guy" thing or will there be wives? Couple of guys from SNY will also be attending FIRC and one will have the Mrs. along. My Mrs. may want to come but she doesn't care much about airplane stories. Any decent place to eat or drink is fine with me. Some of you have my cell or home phone. Just checking. HC

Re: AOPA FIRC Dec 5-6, Denver

Hey fellers, I'd love to get together for a shake an' howdy and beverage, but as a few of you know I'm still not very mobile. The consolation prize is Girlscout is coming to visit :D

Thanks. cubscout

I have work / social events both Saturday and Sunday night...and if any of my free time matches up with Bmurrish, I'm hoping I can knock out an IR lesson.

Re: AOPA FIRC Dec 5-6, Denver

Talked to Tom, and BM. Left a message for Matt about 3:30 this afternoon. Haven't decided on a place yet. Myself and friends from SNY will be staying at the E Suites where the meeting is. Makingmemories, if you read this we will be in the area around 5:00 after the meeting lets out. PM me for phone #'s etc. We are leaving in the morning for other business in the Denver area. HC
