Re: AOPA FIRC Dec 5-6, Denver

I got your message last night HIC, thanks.

The Chili's is the only place I know of in the I-70/Tower area. I won't be getting off work from Jepp till 8, so I'm not sure if anyone will still be around. But I wouldn't mind buying a round for all attendees if there are still some dry mouths.

I'll give you a call Ernie as things get closer.

Have a drink for me! Wish I could be there, but my coworked has orders to Omaha, and the squadron is having a going away party for him tonight...and my cadets have approval for alcohol, so I have to be there to make sure they behave.

Chili's sounds like a great place to meet. Anyone figured out a time yet?

Just talked to HiC. We are all meeting at the Embassy Suites off Tower Rd at 7001 Yampa Street, Denver around 5PM and deciding where to go from there.

Sorry things didn't work out well on my end. Hopefully Sat will be nice and I'll get to chat with some of you then.

Glad you guys had a good time, and wish I could have been there, but most of you know my story....

Umm, how are those vaguely flu-like symptions?

And anyone snowed in yet (it's 09:55 now on Sunday...)?

Best regards to all.

Thanks. cubscout

Re: AOPA FIRC Dec 5-6, Denver

Just got back to SNY about 30 minutes ago...snow all the way from Denver. Thanks to all that came..got to meet Makingmemroies, bmurrish, and flyinbeekeeper and a few others. Was told when we checked in to the E Suites we had a room with a view of the mountains...never saw 'em....could hardly see Penia Blvd...LOL!
If it keeps up like this (snow) will never make the trip south on Sat.

Good to see you guys again! Thanks Hi-C for picking up the tab. Yes, I did pass my test at the end of the FIRC so I am good to go for another two years (I think that is a good thing?)

 I feel the same way. Was tempted to let mine expire, until hearing about your recheck to get it back
