Hey JD. Great job with your fly in. Congrats to the Lions and all of the Austin community. We all had an awesome time...so good in fact that everyone is making plans to come back next year. This time we will bring the tents and a little Crown so we can spend the night with you all. (Don't get any ideas Mock.)

Maybe post some flyers throughout Fallon next year and add a comment on the bottom of the flyer that reads "Military Fly By's Are Encouraged!!"

Did anyone get a picture or video of the Lear Jet -WOW what a Flyby !!! I was one of the last to leave in the rain. Great time will be back and to many more again. Thanks to Joe D great cook and pilot ! Joe's stopped engine spot landings were the "winner" course it's his home field. Counted 11 airplanes in the air at one time trying to make the "spot landings" ---- Great fun !

Well, seems like everybody made it home just fine, back to Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, California, Idaho, Arizona...... I had the best time ever you guys, Thank You all for making this such a great weekend, it was just an absolute hoot, and I for one can't wait for next year already. I gotta be the luckiest guy around, to have friends like all of you. God Bless and keep makin those all those landings just as soft as a butterfly with sore feet...

We placed an order for a little less rain next year, but still set a new record with 50 airplanes...... =D>

Sounds like the powers that be, (commissioners) are liking what they see, with the fly-in, and are gonna set up a shuttle bus next year running back and forth to town every half hour. Plus they are going to throw all their support into quickening the pace on the fuel system too... Ha..... Good stuff..
There is even some talk of a pilots lounge. Whatddya know...
I think that all of this is great, just want to keep this fly-in as a "There ain't no rules" kind of thing though... I think that's what makes it fun.

Sounds good!! I sure hope it stays "There ain't no rules" kind of thing, too!! That's what makes it the most fun and you never know what you'll see  ! If you know what I mean?

I thought your hangar worked fine as the pilots lounge  ? How about a stage for the nightly entertainment :-k ?

We should do some STOL T.O & Landing next year :-k .

I'll be looking forward to the fuel. Even if you can have your friends from Battle Mt. come down with a truck next year :-k

Looks like a good time, Joe. Sorry the weather wasn't better. It sounds like your fly-in is on track to legendary status though.

I second the idea of "ain't no rules" JD, that makes things mighty fun.....

While aviation has made the world a smaller place, if you fall, it's still hard to miss!
