Backcountry Chopper Vid

Here's an older video of a guy wringing a chopper out in the German backcountry. Thought some of you might enjoy.

Re: Backcountry Chopper Vid

Due to the rigid rotor system in the BO-105, it is, as far as helicopters go, EXTREMELY maneuverable!

If you tried this in a bell jet ranger, you probably wouldn't have made it past the :03 second mark. If somehow you survived that maneuver, you would have died shortly after the negative G pushover at :20 seconds [-X #-o

Fun to watch though!

Fun to watch but you won't live very long flying like that.

Have you seen this one from the camera on an Apache.

Video isn't coming through, for some reason. Can you repost?

Is it the one where they try to fit through the gap in the trees? That's one of my favorites.

I've seen this before, and my recollection is that in fact the pilot didn't live much longer after the video was first published. Can't recall any details, though.
