BCP 3.0 Backcountry Photo contest (winners)

Rumor has it that the local skunkworks is tinkering on a new website, slated for a late January release. Had a few false starts in the last 2 years, but it's looking up.

Initially, 8 different photos of backcountry-oriented flying/planes will grace the homepage in a large format. 8 different people will win their choice of a hat or t-shirt, of a new design. Big money!!

Email submissions to [email protected] with subject "BCP photo contest." Max 3 photos per entry. Photos must be minimum 1600 pixels wide and have no watermarks or overlay text. Photo credit will be given on the homepage.

UPDATE
-------------------------
I just wanted to bump this to thank the photographers who submitted their excellent shots that grace the cover of this new website. When the new design apparel comes out, each contest winner will have their choice of a hat or t-shirt.

What new web site is it for? I would consider submitting some, but at less than full size until I knew more how it was to be used...

They'll be used to give people flying boners.

Re: BCP 3.0 Backcountry Photo contest

What about a calendar? The SuperCub site does a beautiful calendar each year. I'd be pleased to pay for a calendar showning backcountry airplanes in beautiful settings.

Just a thought.

Re: BCP 3.0 Backcountry Photo contest

Bumping this, as the submissions have slow considerably. Your chances are still very good to take some free goodies.

I could go through our photo gallery myself, but no free hats awarded that way. :)

Follow the instructions in the first post. Don't let Emflys take all the glory. =D>

Those were only my "A-list". I still have to send you the B-list.

I would consider submitting, but I still have little clue as to what this "new" website it is for. Is it for a "new" updated Backcountry Pilot website, or a "new" website that is commercial in nature, or a "new" forum Website competing with Backcountry Pilot, or what?

Mike
Its just a new version of this same site. An update, just like windows or itunes does all the time. Newer is usually better and easier.

A new version, somewhat different. Normally aspirated only. Will only sell your photos to Chinese companies.

To be clear, yes, I will benefit commercially from your photos through my advertising. I guess I could require paid memberships? Hmmm. If your photo is chosen, you will be asked to email me a release statement for royalty-free use on this website.

Just realized that it may not be clear that I am the owner and developer of backcountrypilot.org. If that's the reason for your confusion, apologies for my creative response.
