Re: Bearhawk demo flight

Hey Jonathon

Wow you've smoked throught that build! Well done. I'd absolutely love to see your machine. As for having a go, you won't have to ask me twice!

I've found a shipping company that will consolidate orders from multiple sources in LA, so I'll order from various people and get it all sent in one shipment. Much cheaper. I had considered getting a sheet of aluminium and cutting the capstrips locally. Either option will work.

Do you have any tools you want to offload?

Cheers

Well... it's not done yet. I just got told the last shipment of parts got loaded onto the wrong ship, so that costs me 20 days.

If you get started, that will be 6 Bearhawks happening in NZ, and I hope (touch wood) another kit builder might be number 7 this month or next. Second only to North American I think? Pretty excitinig times. I think we should start an association (NZBA?).

I'd like to keep all the tools, as they are so handy to have and this project will never really finish - but you don't need many tool, and you'd be welcome to borrow any of those tricky & expensive once-off sort of tools when it comes time that you need them.
