I see quit a few 180's and 182 with the interior striped out and black foam glued to the interior of the cockpit. Does anyone know what foam is being used?

I would not stick anything directly on the interior skins. After 30 years, your future owner will feel the same.

I used the adhesive backed stuff form AC spruce as well. I went with 3/8" on my 206. I left it all exposed and its been holding up quite well. I sprayed 3M super 77 glue on the panels to give the adhesive backing a bit extra to hold on to.

Thank you all. My plane already has something installed and I'm trying to find material to repair a couple spots. I'll order some samples and see if I can find a match.
