Is the "pink copy" of the owner change and registration paperwork good enough to cross the border?
Is other ownership paperwork is required?

Moving between the lower 48 and Alaska? US registered? Don't think they care one way or another.

In all the years that I went back and forth to Canada with a US registered plane (several times a year), before moving there, I was never asked to see any registration, insurance or radio license. Now with Canadian registration, same story, they just do not seem interested in that, at least that has been my experience.

The problem is our guys, not theirs. The pink slip is no good for US Customs. Not to say that you might not get away with a pink slip, because you may. Guess it depends on how benevolent the agent you get is feeling that day. Get expedited registration service from AIC Title if you're in a hurry. The other option is leave it registered to the current owner and obtain a notarized letter from him/her authorizing the non-owner to take it through Canada. Then re-register when you get it home.
I have been through this twice.
