I like the wing tips. Looking forward to seeing what the empty weight is.

Re: Building the Orion Cub

One question about the seats. Are the headrests an option? I can see the, being a aim when wearing a helmet. The cord comes in the back of my helmet, so the protrusion there coupled with the thickness of the helmet may make it awkward to sit in with the headrest.
Just thinking out loud.

Re: Building the Orion Cub

Thanks for the feedback, the helmet interference is a good point. I am sure it will be pretty easy the remove and modify the headrest area on request.

Re: Building the Orion Cub

I stumbed into this thread from a Youtube Channel, Gareth Hitchings (South African STOL flying). I didn't realize it was already discussed in BCP.

How about an update.
How will this kit be presented to North American customers?

Re: Building the Orion Cub

It has been a while since our last post here, but a lot has happened, and our operation has really ramped up in the meantime.
We now have a distributor established in the USA, and their first kits are being shipped. Have a look at https://orioncubusa.com/
