Does anyone have experience in a bushcaddy R80? How does it compare to a kitfox, rans, or christavia? I can't find much information of the ground characteristics, and it seems the kit leaves a lot of decisions up to the builder. There are some specifications for the kit, but I want to hear some testimonials. The one I'm looking at in particular is powered by a Continental C-85. From what I can tell it seems very similar to a kitfox 2.

I don't have any first hand experience but my first impression is that it would be under-powered with a C85. Its a full aluminum airframe so heavier than a Kitfox I suspect.

Good thinking. They do have similar empty weight, but with homebuilt who knows what the actual numbers are. According to the owner the C85 is pushing 100hp, so I think the O-200 conversion has been done to it. Unfortunately, the current owner is not the one who did it, so details are scarce and there is no paperwork.
