Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Re: Bushwheels for Champ

Do the math. ( I havn't) but the 29's contain a LOT more of that cushioning air then the 26'ers. I loved my 26's on my S-7, and when I went to 29's, Airstreaks both times. I was surprised how much more better :D they were. Walking an area just landed and seeing a big rock, first thinking I must have missed it as I didn't feel anything,. Then seeing by my tra ks that I had rolled right over it really showed me how good they are. Both sizes are great, the larger size is simply greater! My fear is ABW decides to offer 31" Airstreaks [-X

Here is an old link with a couple of pictures of it.

Only one picture on Bushwheels and one on floats. I can not take any credit for the way the plane looks other than the bushwheels. It was rebuild by an uncle of a fellow member on this site. He pretty much talked me out of buying a Super Cub and buying this Champ. I honestly couldn't afford a SC at the time and I was totally happy with the highly modified Champ. Have since purchased a RANS S-7 and am selling the Champ.

Go with the 29 air streaks. Lighter than the 31 bush wheels.
