I have some preliminary performance numbers on my P-Ponk'd C180B from the 2 hour break-in flight. Calculations were done using the method described in:
http://www.kilohotel.com/rv8/rvlinks/ssec.htmlas I flew around in triangles over nearby airports at a relatively high power setting for an hour, followed by an hour of alternating high and medium power settings. Leaning was accomplished old school by pulling out till slight rough then advancing to smooth.
At 5000 ft, 4800 pressure altitude and 38-39 deg F, 8 runs showed 143 KTAS at 15.1 gph (23" 2300 RPM ~70%), and 136 KTAS at 12.7 gph (21.5" 2200 RPM ~60%). No measurable oil consumption, either. Not bad for the 56 year old girl!
