C180 tailwheel cable links - Help

Can any of you with a 180 (180A...the earlier ones have a different steering mechanism) pull a tape on your tailwheel links and let me know what they measure. I have rigged the rudder per the manual and my tailwheel steering cables are about 1/2" too long. I don't have the original cessna links but the ABW links that are 1 3/4" long.

I'm thinking the original links are the typical split link jobs that are common to several aircraft and are about 1" long from what I remember which would solve my problem without having to shorten the cables.

Answered my own question... For the archives the original cessna links at 1 1/4". Like like I need to get some of those or have my cables shortened.
