C180A Fueling Steps & Handles

I have seen several older C180s with the strut step, fuselage step and handle used for fueling but I cannot for the life of me find the part numbers in any of my parts manuals. I have found them in the 185 manual but the handles on the 185 have flat sides and the ones I have seen on 180s are usually completely tubular handles (Aktahoe's 180 has the handles with flat side though).

Does anyone know what the part number is for the handles and is it kosher to install the fuel step kit with a log book entry or is everyone doing this on the 180s with a 337?

You know your tires are big enough if you need a hubcap step to climb up on one.
