I sent it to the
airbox doc and it came back great. Unfortunately, my 30 year old O470-JCR ran out of legs. So I have the recenlty rebuilt
airbox waiting to be sold when I complete the big project, which is a zero time northpoint xp-4 70-50, seaplanes west mount, new selkirk cowling, and new carb and newer style
airbox. Once I'm back in the air, I'll resell all my like-new parts - rebuilt
airbox and knisely exhaust with about 50 hours on it. I'm going to hold on to my original cowling I think.... not entirely sure why but will just wait and see how that goes.
