So those foggles are for IFR practice, eh? I have some I picked up somewhere, I wear them at parties -- they're a great conversation starter and cool lookin' to boot. 8) (aren't these foggles?)

Folks,

Any way you cut the cake, getting an instrument rating will improve your basic piloting skills. Even if you never fly in a cloud again.

There are lots of reasons not to get the instrument rating: expensive, takes time, etc.

It will make you a better pilot.

What's that worth, to you and to your loved ones and passengers?
