Wow. Whether pretty or not, I always enjoy seeing these Zeniths stroll their STOL stuff. =D>

Any idea what the winds were like in those take offs?

CH750 or Highlander

Winds were around 15-20mph, small gusts and a moderate left to right crosswind component. Carbon Cub actually beat this performance on the day with a total take off and landing distance of 42.1 metres (138 feet).

The CH750 is a great plane, those that have them love them! And it really performs!

It's kinda like having your ugliest child run the fastest :)

What's remarkable is the pilot of the 701 in the video is a low time pilot, about 200 hrs now. He does have fun with that plane, though.
