I dont have operational experience, but I would like to try these out. I feel like they should work great, and it is a lot of work to re-seat the original push rod tubes, and even more work to replace the old push rib base seals.

The Real Gasket pushrod tubes work fantastic. The stock rubbers and clamps are f*^%ing horrible. Continental makes a version too.
You don't have to remove cylinders to install them. Take the rocker covers off, remove the rocker shafts, rockers, and pushrods. Cut the rubbers at the base of the pushrod and remove everything by prying it out of the rocker box.
Buy the spring compressor tool. If you have problems, Chris at Real Gaskets is a "real" good dude. Yes I'm biased and have probably sold 1 sets of these for him on O-300's and O-200's.

I have installed these on a couple engines now... not hard to do and they actually seal the oil from leaking out the tubes unlike the stock junk... not too expensive either..

I'm about to get going on a top overhaul before switching to floats for the summer so the timing is perfect for incorporating this "upgrade".

My Continental cylinders with the upgraded pushrod tubes have worked out really well. Installed in 2014 and have not leaked a drop of oil.

This is the way they should have been built from the beginning.

Mine are Continental cylinders that were overhauled by One Stop Aviation in Oceanside, CA.

Thanks, I’ll reach out to Real Gasket to confirm compatibility with the Millennium jugs fingers crossed they play nice in the sandbox together.

I've had the Continental cylinders on a customers 170B, we were in the process of installing the Real Gasket kit on his engine, but found a shatter cam follower, so we went all in when we overhauled it. Have Millennium and ECI cylinder on our 172. Probably going to try to go Real Gaskets soon to fix some of the seeps.

The Real Gasket pushrods will work on Millennium or Continental cylinders. They just slide into the empty pushrod tube holes in the rocker box once the original tubes are pried off.

I’ve put a few of these on before and I had trouble when I installed them on my engine, the # 1 cylinder exhaust is rubbing on the pushrod tube. I have
Millennium cylinders with thick flanges on the exhaust stack
