Thanks,
We cruised around 95 knots, and burned 7.6 gallons an hour. Trip took a little over 5 hours with a 7-14 knot headwind. And we stopped twice to fill her up. We could have made it with one stop, but decided it would be smarter not to push it in an unfamiliar plane.

I was curious about the Beech, but good numbers for the 170.

Oh... duh...
We cruised around 165 knots at 40 gal/h. It was unbelievably comfortable.

For the 18 that is a really good fuel burn vs speed. It must be in impeccable condition.

The 18 that AF flew in appears to be in primo condition unlike my friend's Beech. It is great that some of the older planes have been maintained and updated to better than new condition.

It appears you live a charmed life. Was that you or your friend getting dual in the 18? The video was great and informative. There are folks for some reason that won't click on a link and the video is too good to miss so I'll post it if you don't mind AF.

Thanks Bob! You're the man. I have most definitely been lucky here lately

I'm editing the landing video tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to post that tomorrow.
