It would never occur to me to look there for an aircraft.....

I wouldn't put an airplane on ebay or look for one there either, but I know several people who've bought and/or sold airplanes there. Craigslist makes more sense but has a bad rep for scams. I've never used CL, but do buy small gun-related stuff (grips, books, etc) off ebay occasionally.
If I was trying to sell an airplane, I'd do an ad on barnstormers. Buying, I'd check there as well as TAP. Probably woldn't mess with CL, definitely not ebay.

Re: Craigslist Scam?

If I advertised on Ebay I would have to learn how to post a picture. :)

I did sell the 701 on Barnstormer's. I had it sold within days.

Re: Craigslist Scam?

Alaskaslist.com is the place to look for aircraft up here, better than CL because it has an "aircraft" listing

Re: Craigslist Scam?

Somebody tried to scam me through Barnstormers when I was selling the Clipper. It's not that uncommon and they give examples on their website to help you avoid them.

I drool over that section at least once a day.

Every day is another day closer to ownership!

The raped part doesn't sound too bad.(depending circumstances ) The scammed, beat-up and shot part I'm not too fussy bout though.

Hey Gump I think someone needs your help in putting the receiving order of these offenses right should his marriage not work out. Also there needs to be ice weasels in there somewhere.
