CubCrafters has become an official sponsor of BCP

Please join me in welcoming CubCrafters as an official ad partner with BackcountryPilot.org. You may notice their ads appearing around the site, replacing the Google ads that have partially supported us until now. The gang over at CubCrafters have been good to us, and they also happen to make a pretty fine aircraft. Please consider them if you're in the market for a new Cub.

Thank you CubCrafters!

BCP can send a petition to Cub Crafters... "Just Build a Maule"

Congratulations to Cub Crafters and BCP for creating a great match.

Re: CubCrafters has become an official sponsor of BCP

luv me sum carbon cub

Instead of "mall crafters" I submit to you it should be "pacer crafters" lol

I would love to have a long wing 2+2, with a behemoth suicide cargo door and over head flap handles. Perhaps you can leave off the coupled rudder. Of course the $300+G price tage would put me out of the running at this point in my career.

Re: CubCrafters has become an official sponsor of BCP

Maules are nice...and I wish the nice folks in Georgia continued success in their business.

Piper discontinued the Cub; Maule production is still going strong. I think they make very fine affordable aircraft.

If there is ever a kit based Maule, I think I'd like to see it come out of Georgia from the Maule folks themselves, but doing so might eat into their certified sales.

Cubcrafters make a super product as well, it is just that they are a little beyond my financial reach. Of course that's an issue on my end...not Cubcrafters :?

Thank you again CC for supporting BCP

Good for them, We can all dream that one day we'll be asking them to build us their best spec cub ever:)

I stopped by their factory last year and they were super welcoming, showing me planes and letting me use wifi to file a flight plan. Seem like genuinely nice bunch of people.

Re: CubCrafters has become an official sponsor of BCP

On behalf of all of our staff here at the factory, I am sure I can say that we're glad to be able to support Zane and this website. I would also really extend our company's thanks to the back country flying user community. It's one of the few market segments in general aviation that is growing, and it's the pilots and aircraft owners both here on BCP and elsewhere that have the passion to fly low and slow that are the reason CubCrafters is a success. Thank you!
