#4 induction leak. Induction tube was too short. After I did the service bulletin, it leaked. Image

Got everything working and the DAR signed me off yesterday. Flew 0.3 last evening and 1.2 and a 1.3 today. Image

Thanks. Ely is in my 50 mile ring but Tower is 51 miles. Once I finish the 10 hour engine break in, I will be hitting every strip in my test area. Side lake is 67 miles :-(

Were you reading irregular EGT's? Roughness? Slow throttle response? Fuel stains?

I just replaced intake gaskets on my cylinders (O360), made a difference. My engine also leaked fuel (blue stains) after priming around the leaks. TT 400HR. Air cooled engines take a lot of maintaining!

I envy your build. Beautiful aircraft.
