Hey Tom, sorry you guys couldn't make it up, the wind has been pretty wild lately! I was down your way a few weeks back and got annihilated by turbulence crossing into the valley and had to turn around. G-meter readings were reaching scary levels and I was worried the wings might not stay attached.
I'm pumped for La Garita, such an awesome fly-in, I can hardly wait! I'm working on him already for it. He really wants to come! We started pulling the prop off the Helio tonight as it has a pretty good vibration.. the prop shop in Akron couldn't balance it on the plane and said it needs to be looked at/overhauled etc. We are trying to get it up there asap so it will be ready in time!!
