I'm in the lower north island, been here 4 years, originally from Aus... I'm pretty luck and get to fly many different types but I own a 150TD, 172P and Auster J1N

Lucky fellow!! As I said, I live in El Salvador. I love restoring old aircraft. I have been restoring a Douglas DC3/C47 for the last 14 years, and will be doing the test flights in less than a month. Lord willing! I also have a 450 Stearman, Grumman AgCat, L4 Cub and a Fouga Magister CM-170. My wife hasn't asked me to chose between her and the airplanes, but I think she's close. I wonder if the Dornier will do it!!
Flying in Central America is awesome. A lot of neat places to go. But flying in NZ has been one of the more memorable flying experiences of my 39 years as a pilot! Would love to fly your native country as well. Never been to Australia.
