Engine Mount Inspection
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
My engine is being rebuilt and while the engine is off I am thinking of having the engine mount inspected and repainted. The mount looks in good shape nothing bent or dented. What company should I have to the work?

Send it to Acorn in Edmonton. They'll NDT it, probably find cracks because it's amazing how they can look good but be cracked, then rebuild it.

Call Paul at Acorn Welding and see how much trouble he’s having getting stuff across the boarder. I’d definitely go with them if they can work in your timeframe.
I don’t know of any shops in Washington state really doing engine mount overhauls.

FWIW Aerospace Welding AWI in MN took over Kosceola (?) a few years ago.
I had good luck with AWI on exhaust stuff, I'd probably send them my mount.
