I just had a new one installed on my airplane, a Lycoming O-360, made by Knisely. I'm impressed with the quality of the workmanship. They did take forever and a day to get it made, however. Total was something near $3600.

Just installed a acron heavy duty stainless system, with their STCed muffler with the flame cone and extended tailpipe and thicker walls mods, pull through, etc, great unit, needs a little buffing to be presentable, or even better ceramic if your AP is down and you have time to send it out.

I second Acorn Welding. They inspected and repaired my engine mount last year. I attended their facility in Edmonton and took a behind the counter tour. They showed me some of the improvements they've come up with in exhaust system repair, and it's impressive. They're not cheap, but I don't expect to shop anywhere else.
Knisley has an attractive mod for the T210 rear crossover and heat exchanger. That would be an exception for me. Actually it was. I bought a new Knisley for the 210 last year.
Get a shipping quote. It will be a bit more expensive because it's cross border. I would bet they have one on the shelf ready. Drive a hard bargain if you have to. The Canadian dollar is low. Their steel is all bought in USD, but their labor is paid in CAD.
I have a good used one in my parts collection, but I'm not sure I want to let it go.

One word, first and one and only the best. -ACORN- don't qibble about the small difference in price. Trust me, its worth every dime you pay. I replaced mine complete last year and I wouldn't go any other way. Just SO much better. I've had two other friends who looked at mine replace their's with Acorn.
