Since you don't use your aux tanks, then you know how bad it is not to have LR tanks :lol: I mean without them you only have 3 hours and a good reserve, and that would suck.

Yeah, my point exactly! :wink:
Maybe I could contract with the airforce for some mid-air refueling...but then I guess I'd have to have a turbine Maule...hmmmm, now there's an idea! :D

Other than the price of course, I believe the problem with the turbine is lack of range. The T-63A720 in a OH-58 would go through 70 gallons in two and a half hours.
