Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Wonder if his visor heat is working now? Still looks to be fogging up.
76,000ft and climbing.

I'm betting it's on all the major networks. 105,000 ft now. About 15 minutes till the jump.

115k... The visor thing is scary. It's heated inside the capsule too. It's about to get very cold on that suit.
Cool to see how inflated the balloon envelope is now.
Gb... No idea. I only have Internet, no tv.

I'll have to look at it when someone puts a recorded clip up. I keep getting an error after viewing for a few seconds.

Being born well after the apollo moon landing, I only ever experienced shuttle launches as a kid. Watching this kinda thing live is so exciting!

Starting the jump check list. Projected to get to 125,000ft. Still has a visor heater problem, but he's jumping anyway.

That explains the buffering. Anything more than 9 people screws it up here.

20 F outside the capsule during depressurization? Seems like the oat probe is getting dusted a little with cabin air or something.
