Flight Instructors DC/VA Area

Howdy all.

I have a few logged hours from when I was in Civil Air Patrol...Been a while since I was in the air...over ten years. Ill need to start all over again for my pilots license. Im currently living in the DC area, wondering if anyone knows/recommends a flight instructor in the area. Looking to get my taildragger endorsement, and would like learning from someone with backcountry experience. Any recommendations?

Re: Flight Instructors DC/VA Area

I worked in DC and lived in Manassas until late 2014. I reached escape velocity that year and haven't looked back. I flew my Maule to Washington State and have been enjoying backcountry flying/camping in the Pacific Northwest since then. While in Manassas I rented from Aviation Adventures at KHEF until I bought my Maule. They had a Champ they gave instruction in. Might still have it. No real backcountry in the mid-Atlantic region, but lots of great grass strips all over Virginia and Maryland. Give them a call and good luck finishing of that license!
