Innovation in aviation and you take a dump on it. Funny thing is you don't even know who your shaking your finger at......

I hope you're the only one who didn't realize that I was joking.
I guess in the future I need to make that more obvious for some people.

Yeah, the joke is because of the current lawsuit between Garmin and uAvionics, in which Garmin claims a patent infringement over the manner in which uAvionics picks up the transponder output for their wingtip ADS-B Out doo hickey. Lighten up, Greg!

Just had a buddy tell me that people are saying you’d need a 337 for these (Cessna inspection panel versions).

Does this really constitute a major alteration?

Re: Fly-lite LED underwing courtesey lights

Are they just the white light?

I think it would be nice if they had both a red and white light. First click of the button turns red on, then if you hit the button again within like 5 seconds or so, it goes to white.

That way you could use them in the dark and not ruin your dark-adjusted vision.

That's a very good idea. Specially for preflighting at night.

Re: Fly-lite LED underwing courtesey lights

I saw on Facebook that Fly-Lite now has the Cessna replacement lights. 2 pack for 140. Ordering mine as we speak.

Re: Fly-lite LED underwing courtesey lights

They required me to give up my stock 170B panels in trade. Can you let me know if that’s still the case?

I wish I needed a set of those. I love warm dark, it just doesn't exist up here.

Rig for red. Up scope. I think the white is a great way to attract bugs. All kidding aside, I think it a great idea. Love that folks are constantly thinking of something cool to add to the experience
