Re: Flying-Fishing-Hunting Equipment

Speaking of weight reduction, this is probably the best and cheapest mod for weight reduction.

Re: Flying-Fishing-Hunting Equipment

My buddy pilot, an ophthalmologist who specialized in cataract surgery, once told me that I couldn’t spend enough on good sunglasses. That said, for pilots an ear seal friendly temple is nice, my Maui Jim’s with the reader lens fails on that count. I’ve got some good Julbo, like them on bright stuff, but have to remove to read. Just trying some cheapo Foster Grant Fish Eyes from Bass Pro, less than $30 just for a proof of concept. Not bad for flying.
Hunting? I never wear sunglasses.

Any suggestions for a hard case shotgun case and mounting ideas for a short barrel shotgun on wing struts (Rans S7)

Although I appreciate lightweight gear, I'm willing to carry some ounces and pounds that others choose to cut. Some comforts are worth it, frankly. Below is my working list that I go through prior to each trip, though some of these things get cut depending on the mission or length of trip. I am going hunting and have gathered all the equipment which you have mentioned. Thanks a lot to help me find the best thing.
