It looks like I have finally found a 206. It is bittersweet but I have to put my Stinson up for sale after 20 years of ownership.
It is a straight 108, extremely light with a borer prop (80x42), the Franklin 150 has been overhauled with a valve train from 165 hp engine, since it doesn’t have the same carburetor it probably makes about 160 hp. Empty weight is about 1260 pounds so it climbs very well and gets off ground quickly for a Stinson.
It underwent a Frame up restoration 400 hours ago in 2000, where everything possible was replaced with new or overhauled parts, fabric glass interior, metal, instruments, avionics etc. Had a Prop strike 200 hours ago and out of an abundance of caution even though tear down showed no damage, engine was zero timed with new propeller. Cleveland brakes, Scott Tailwheel, Slick mags, spin on oil filter, Basic VFR with GPS com.
Asking $39,000.
Thanks,-Mike
