Is or has anyone on here operated out of Fort Mcmurray Alberta on straight floats? I am just wondering how guys are getting fuel down to the snye? Or Gregoire lake.
Thanks in Advance

No fuel at either place. Everyone who used to keep planes at the Snye have put amphibs on and keep them at the airport now. Executive aviation may have a small truck they can run down to the Snye with. Otherwise it's jerry cans

Thanks Mark, Man I wish there were a few places to get fuel in alberta. I know amphibs are the way to go but loose so much usefull. I am looking at a 206 on straight floats right now with a usefull of 1380 lbs on the floats so I would really like to keep that kinda available weight.

I hear you there. Lots of airports without fuel too. I sure like my LR tanks most days.
