Just wondering if there's a Garmin Guru in the BCP ranks. I purchased a previously enjoyed GNC250 that I've installed for basic nav/comm requirements. I sourced a new blank nav data card directly from Jeppesen and successfully uploaded a new Alaskan/Canada navigation database. I now seeing on start up the following message "route WPT locked" which according to the manual is a result of a "user defined" waypoint that is no longer in the new database.
So here's the question, is there a way to excute some sort of master reset that would effectively scrub all previous user defined waypoints and let me start fresh ?
Thank you in advance

I had a 300xl that had the same issue, even after having it redone at Garmin. I had to go in and find the user WPTs and delete each one individually. Was a little tricky to ferret each one out. But seemed to work.

Absolutely, apparently a "master reset" is done by holding the CSR button down while powering up the unit, then when the unit does power up for a further 10 seconds thereafter.
