I moved the airplane back to Greeley from Fort Collins/Loveland after a little mechanical work and my new tach installation, and it was so darned bumpy that I couldn't press the correct button on the iPad Mini to turn on glide advisor. In fact, just looking at the screen or any of the gauges was pretty difficult--something more than "light chop" constantly. It's only 17 miles, but I was glad to get on the ground. Although yesterday evening's "storm" wasn't worthy of the name, the squirrely winds and bumps sure made life unpleasant. So I'll try glide advisor another day, but I think it's fundamentally a potentially useful tool.
